Painting Symbolic Union

"Symbolic Union" is a work that transcends the figurative and enters the pure symbolic. The two central figures, outlined in etched lines and united by simple gestures, exude a profound relationship - of love, brotherhood, partnership or ancestry. We don't know who they are, but we know they are together. Around them revolve archetypal shapes: circles, triangles, cups. Each of these seems to charge the composition with ritual meanings: sun and moon, masculine and feminine, offering and spiritual energy. It is a geometry of universal understanding - a code conveyed visually, beyond words. The texture of the work is reminiscent of traditional African linocuts or woodcuts, giving the impression of looking at an artefact. Each line seems to preserve a trace of time, a form of memory.
