The Inchinaciune (amber) wallpaper model is a non-conformist transposition of the religious dimension that is at the heart of our people into modern interior design. Part of the Poema Romana collection, a manifesto dedicated to our tradition and cultural heritage, the wallpaper lets one of its sources of inspiration shine through, the area of prestigious churches and icons in Romania. We have thus stopped in Bucovina, Campulung Moldovenesc and Gura Humorului, for an incursion into the world of paintings found in the monasteries of the area. We delighted our eyes with the majestic frescoes painted by Nicolae Grigorescu at Agapia Monastery. The tapestry captures faithful and inspired biblical figures against a millenary background, enriched with symbols and motifs from the mystical tradition of the Roman people. The carefully reworked ornamentation is reminiscent of specific architectural details, such as friezes, plaster brackets or frames that combine specific Baroque elements with local elements.

So, after loading up on beauty, we return home with our quiver full of inspiration and our souls ready to create. We set out to take elements of Romanian grammar, customs and traditions and render them in a modern and bold form, through overlapping textures and patterns, with surprising touches of neon and graffiti.Out of love and respect for nature, all our tapestries are made from natural, eco-friendly and biodegradable materials. That's why in our production process we use a Vlies base, a non-woven material, extremely resistant and easy to install.
