The Borangic (earth) wallpaper pattern is the result of a foray into the ancestral past, to simpler times, when time did not seem to have the same ruthless , hurried pace, when a minute felt like a day and a day meant more than the hours between sunrise and sunset. A time that allowed for more, and in which there didn't seem to be so much to do. A time that created space for people to be together, either with others or with themselves. And people took it and embroidered it in fabrics given to them by nature, with details that instilled the beliefs and mysticism of old. The delicate silk supported the craft, the clear colours infused it. And to bring praise and thanks to those who made us who we are today, we made Borangic Tapestry. This is our way of suspending art in time.

The Poema Romana Collection graphically encapsulates the enduring, evolving and surprising spirit of the Romans. It sets off, bold and fluid, on a foray through time. The roots of creation, deep in the earth beneath us, encourage us to explore the cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation. At the heart of our Tapestries, the focal point is tradition, in all its fullness.

So, after loading up on beauty, we return home with our quiver full of inspiration and our souls ready to create. We set out to take elements of Romanian grammar, customs and traditions and render them in a modern and bold form, through overlapping textures and patterns, with surprising touches of neon and graffiti.Out of love and respect for nature, all our tapestries are made from natural, eco-friendly and biodegradable materials. That's why in our production process we use a Vlies base, a non-woven material, extremely resistant and easy to install.
